Paula L. Baker, 72, of Madison Avenue, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday (November 22, 2015) at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hornell, November 29, 1942, the daughter of Paul and Geraldine Knowlton Lorow, she had resided in Hornell, all her life. Paula retired as a housekeeper from St. James Mercy Hospital and was a member of the Hillside Baptist Church. She loved crocheting, bingo, bowling, camping, her dogs, and was a devoted Mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents Paula was predeceased by one brother, John Lorow, brother-in-law, Kenneth Quick.
She is survived by her husband, Richard to whom she was married on Nov. 5, 1995, children, Kimberly (Steven) Hill of PA, Vicki (Mark) Hoffman of Hornell, Robert (Neva) Bossard of Hornell and David (Sally) Bossard of Arkport, two step-sons, Michael (Andrea) Baker of NJ and Ricky (Tina) Baker of Rochester, one sister, Nancy Quick of Canisteo, two brother's Patrick (Bonnie) Lorow of Hornell and Ken (Karen) Lorow of CA, fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 1PM-4PM on Wednesday (November 25, 2015), at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St. Hornell, NY 14843. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 4PM at the funeral home, Rev Craig Brittingham officiating. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
In lieu of flowers friends may make memorial contributions to American Asthma Foundation, Box 0509, San Francisco, CA 94143.
