Patrick L. Roche, 55, of Almond, passed away Saturday (February 25, 2017) at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Born in Batavia, July 14, 1961, the son of Ralph Parise and Patricia Hicks Bates, he had resided in the Almond area most of his life. Pat was well known as the owner of Cosmic Patty's in Hornell and in Pat's honor the legacy will continue. Pat had a great enthusiasm for motorcycles; he was an avid collector of antiques. He enjoyed music especially the Grateful Dead. Pat was a one of a kind man; those that knew him could tell you he'd drop anything to help you out. He was a free spirit who lived the life he loved, a road runner, he had to keep on, keeping on. Pat was a member of the Arkport American Legion.
He is survived by his parents, 3 daughters, Taylor Roche of Hornell, Nikki (Chad) Arnold of Seattle Washington and Pam Dayton of Alexander, NY, 1 son, Jamie (Carissa Smith) Porter of Almond, 3 brothers, David (Cheryl) Roche, Mike (Natalie) Roche and Tim (Cheryl) Roche, 2 sisters Stacey (Jon) Heary and Cathy (George) Seltzer, his dog Scootch, his close friends, Paul (Vicki) Wallace, Manfred (Jamie) Kalisnikow and Justin Schreiber, a special nephew, Dominik (Asheleigh) Bennett as well as several nieces and nephews.
