Loper, 83 of Thacher Street, passed away early Wednesday morning (August 9, 2023) at her home.Born in Hornell, December 24, 1939, she was the daughter of Elden and Katherine Norton Baker. She was a graduate of Hornell High School, class of 1959, received her cosmetology license in Elmira and received her registered Nurse’s degree from Alfred State College. She had been employed for several years as a registered nurse at the Cobre Valley Community Hospital in Globe, Arizona.She was a member of the Abundant Life Ministries in Almond.She was predeceased by her parents, and brother, Richard Baker.Surviving are her children, Lynnette (David Ahart) Loper of Candor, Elden (Ellen) Loper of Hornell, Jack Loper II of Hornell and David (Anita) Loper of Arizona. Three grandchildren; Katie Loper, Kyle (Lindsi) Loper, and Tatum (Brandon) Garcia, as well as seven great grandchildren.Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday (August 21, 2023) at 1:00pm at the Abundant Life Ministries, 7083 State  Route 21, Almond, NY 14804.
