Patricia Ann “Patty” McGregor Jackson

Patty Jackson age 63, of Stephens Avenue, passed away unexpectedly at her home.
She was born in Hornell, NY the daughter of Mark and Phyllis McGregor, and was a lifelong area resident. Patty had worked daycare, and at the Woodhull Raceway in ticket sales. She loved animals and was never afraid to take care of a stray, and also had enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Patty never turned down an opportunity to go to the races in Woodhull, however her proudest thing on earth was being a grandma.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Ben McGregor, and sister Sherry VanDuser.
She is survived by her daughter Jodi (Josh) Outman of Wellsville, her son Eric Hillman of Hornell, her sister Sandra Coogan of Hornell, her grandchildren Kyara Crooks, Alyssa Crooks, Xander Outman, Amaya Outman, Chad Hillman, Page Outman, her great grandson Joshua Giddings, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be present on Saturday (August 2, 2025) from 11am-1pm at the Bender Brown & Powers Funeral Home 354 Canisteo Street in Hornel, where Funeral Service will take place at 1:00pm with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating. Burial will be at Rural Cemetery in Hornell.
