View Tribute Book  Patricia Maxine (Henry) Guthrie (66) of Fremont, NY, passed away September 16, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Pat was born August 11, 1956, to Glayson and Irena Maxine Henry of Hornell. On August 18, 1973, she married the love of her life, John Guthrie of Fremont. Together they had five children, John and Erin (Waasdorp) Guthrie of Fremont, Terah Patrica Guthrie, Sarah and Daniel Wilson of Howard, Rebekah and Kyle Fletcher of Fremont, and Moriah and Justin McNeill of Greenwood. They have twelve grandchildren: John Tylor, Tanara (Jesse Smith), Terah, Danae, Rianna, Joleen, Elijah, Landyn, Damien, Kaydinse, Kylen, and Danica. Pat impacted the world around her and influenced everyone she met. She loved her family fiercely and unapologetically chased after God. She was a self-taught, ambitious woman, tackling many things throughout her life, including homeschooling her children, running various businesses, returning to college after her children were grown to obtain her bachelor's degree, and starting a church with her husband. Pat loved to garden, mow, remodel houses, bake, travel internationally, and most of all, spend time with her family. Pat is survived by her husband John; four children John, Sarah, Rebekah, and Moriah and their spouses; her grandchildren; three sisters, Candice (David) Eldredge of Stanley, NY, Sharon (Stephen) Patton of Granberry, TX, Connie (Matthew) Zetts of Sparta, NC; one brother David (Shaune) Henry of Alfred, NY; two brothers-in-law, William (Lyla) Guthrie of Zephryhills, FL and Daniel (Patrica) Guthrie of Fremont, NY, and Four sisters-in-law Joyce(steve) Strasburg Geri (Luke) Quinn of Chesterfield, MI; Jennie Guthrie of Corning, NY, and Jean Guthrie Starace of Canisteo, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Glayson and Irena Maxine Henry, in-laws Thomas and Bertha (Smith) Guthrie of Fremont, daughter Terah Guthrie, brother Rick Henry of Hornell, NY, and two brothers-in-law, Robert Guthrie of Corning, NY and Thomas Guthrie of Hornell, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to River of Grace Ministries, 81 Elm Street, Hornell, NY 14843.
