Patricia J. Benjamin, 66, of 434 Monroe Ave, the Hornell Gardens, passed away Tuesday (March 14, 2017) at the Hornell Gardens.



Born in Johnson City, March 17, 1950, a daughter of Homer and Edna (Felton) Foster, she had resided in Hornell, the past 8 years. Pat had previously lived in Zephyr Hills, Florida and Rocky Mountain, North Carolina. She enjoyed drinking coffee, chocolate, art of all kinds and using her CB Radio. Pat was a loving, kind and stubborn woman who enjoyed butterflies, collecting cows and spending time with her son and family. Pat was a very social person.



She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Earl "JR" Benjamin Jr. in 2001, a brother Richard Foster, 4 sisters; Doris Walton, Suszanne Potter, Marion House and Frances Normile.



She is survived by her son, Brent Benjamin of Hornell, a brother William Linsey of NY, a sister Rosann McCormick of Florida, 6 nieces; Jennifer McCormick, Laurie Hadsell, Rhonda Cayton, Lorie Foster, Darlene Walton and Kris Foster, 6 nephews; James McCormick Jr., Christopher McCormick, Ronnie Potter, Patrick Normile, Mathew Cwynar and David Walter Jr. as well as several great nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services. A private gathering for close friends and family will be held at the convenience of the family.
