Born in Hornell, November 15, 1925, the daughterof William and Treva Stephens Moore, she had resided in Canisteo, Burns and Hornellall her life. She was a member of the Hornell United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased byher husband Leon Cowell on March 6, 2001.
She is survived byseveral nieces and nephews.

A private family funeral service was held this morning at the Bender-Brown& Powers Funeral Home,
354 Canisteo St., Hornell.Terry Kelly officiated. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery,Canisteo.
