Olive L Barrigar, 81, of
7111 North Main StExt, passed away Tuesday (November14, 2006) at St. James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Oswego,December 14, 1924,the daughter of Curtis and Louise Mills, she had resided in Hornell for thepast 10 years, and had previously lived in Friendship and Rochester. Olive graduated from the Rochester School of the Deaf " Class of 1944" ,and had worked for Fanny Farmer Candy Company. In 1957 she married Ralph V Barrigar who predeceased her on June 17, 1999.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband a sisterMarilyn Drumas and her brother Robert Mills.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Sicklerof Springwater, a son Charles (Mary) Barrigar of Rochester, 6 grandchildren 2 great grandchildrenand her special friend and caretaker Bonnie Dibble.
The family will be present 2-4 & 7-8PM Thursday, at the Bender - Brown &Powers Funeral Home,
354 CanisteoSt, Hornell, where funeral services will be heldat 8:00 PM, with the Deacon Robert McCormickofficiating.
