Oleta E. Quimby,81, formerly of Maple Court Homes , passed awayTuesday (May 31, 2005)at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Hornell, January 4, 1924, the daughterof Alfred and Evangeline Leyman, shehad resided in Maineand Syracusebut most of her life in Hornell.She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hornell and had beenemployed at Loohns Cleaners and Launderers inHornell.
She was predeceased byher one son, Mark Quimbyin 1977, as well as her sister Shirley Coleman and brother, Milton Leyman.
She is survived by two daughters: Deborah (Doug) Horton of Hornell, Sharon (Loren "Rusty")Cornish of NC, one brother: Norman(Connie) Leyman , 7 grandchildren, 15great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend aMemorial Service at the Bender-Brown &Powers Funeral Home,
