Norman P. Jefferds, 75 a resident of Shaw Road, passed away Monday (June 2, 2025) at the Wellsville Manor Care Center.
Born in Hornell, August 22, 1949, he was the son of Bruce and Adell Goodsell Jefferds. He was a graduate of Alfred Almond Central School and studied auto body technology at the Wellsville Vocational School. He had resided his entire life in Alfred Station.
For several years, he was employed at the family business, “Jefferd’s Construction” in Alfred Station, and later formed the J & M Excavating Company in Alfred Station with, Brian Marino.
Norman was a life member and former Chief of the Alfred Station Fire Department, enjoyed auto racing, visiting Casinos, and especially having coffee with his friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, his son Sean Jefferds, his sister, Judy Torres and his brother Bob Jefferds.
He is survived by his daughter, Katrina Jefferds of Canisteo, his brothers, Donald (Peggy) Jefferds of Almond, Gary Jefferds of Almond and Bruce (Abby) Jefferds of Belmont, his sister, Joann Coon of Rochester, and his grandson Cameron Marino of Canisteo.
Honoring Norman’s wishes there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration Of Life from 1PM until 4PM on Saturday (June 7, 2025) at the Alfred Station Fire Department.
