Nibbo Joseph Prezioso, 86, of High Street, passed away peacefully Friday (June 29, 2007) at his home.
Born in Thompsonville,CT, December 30, 1920, the son of Angelo and CatherineCollura Prezioso, he has resided in Angelica, since 1988 moving from Long Island. Nibbo had graduated from aviation school in1939, and served our country during World War II as a bombadier in the US Navy.He had worked for Republic Aviation for 26 years, and retired from GrumanAircraft after 20 years. Nibbo was a communicant of Sacred Heart in Angelica.He married the former Shirley Titus on August 20, 1941 who survives. Nibbo's passion was flyingplanes, and after retirement he flew his Piper PA-11 every chance he got.
He was predeceased by his parents and his daughter KathleenRiselvato in 2003.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 66 years ShirleyPrezioso, 2 daughters Jeanne (Kenneth) May of Farmingdale, LongIsland, and Deborah Staffieri of Angelica, 10 grandchildren andmany great grandchildren.
The family will be present 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday, with a Rosary/Prayer Service at 8:30pm, at the Brown & PowersFuneral Home,
101 West Ave.,Angelica. A Mass of Christian will be held at the Holy Family Of Jesus Mary andJoseph Church ( 5 Milton Street in Belmont) on Tuesday, at 11:00 AM, with the Father Dennis Mancusoofficiating. Burial will be in Until TheDay Dawn Cemetery, Angelica.
