Natalie J Barry-Schmitter, 83, of 1190 County Road 66, passed away peacefully Saturday (January 26, 2013) at home.



Born in Baltimore, MD, September 1, 1929, the daughter of John and Beatrice (Weiss) Boag, she had resided in the Angelica area for many years. She was a retired Elementary School Teacher retiring in 1984, from Holley Central School. Natalie was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, and was also involved in the Crafty Belles and Bone Builders. She enjoyed extensive traveling, the Theater, crafts, her family, friends, and was always ready for a good laugh.



She was predeceased by her first husband James V. Barry in 1998.



She is survived by her husband Al Schmitter, her two sons Kevin J. Barry of New Orleans, Stephen (Christine) Barry of Poughkeepsie, 2 grandchildren Michael R.(Stacie) Barry of Colorado, Brian T. (Jennie) Barry of Colorado, 2 great grandchildren Alex and Cameron Barry, 5 step children Susan Doucher, John (Sarah) Schmitter, Dorothy (Jim) Helmicki, Frank (Maria) Schmitter, Judy (Paul) Koph, 20 step grandchildren and 22 step great grandchildren.



The family will be present 11am-1pm Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Avenue, Angelica, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, with Father John Cullen officiating. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica.
