Muriel M. Krantz,97, of
96 Maple St,passed away Thursday (November10, 2005) at her home.
Born in Brooklyn,December 21, 1907,the daughter of Charles and Florence Giroux Meisner,she had resided in the Bronx, prior tomoving to Canisteo in 1980. She had been employed as a private secretary in New York Cityfor the Greater New York Fund, which laterbecame the United Way. She was a member of Our Lady of The ValleyParish and a communicant of St. Ann'sChurch in Hornell.
She was predeceased byher son John Krantzin 1970, her husband William Krantz in 1988, as wellas 5 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one daughter: Mary (Fred) Voss of Canisteo, two sons: William (Dorothy) Krantz of CapeCod, Mass, Thomas (Lillian) Krantz of North Hollywood, CA., one brother: Cyril ( Betty)Meisner of Florida, 6 grandchildren, Thomas Krantz Jr., Loretta Petersen,Jennifer Dewey, Kryssi Krantz, Frederic Voss and Earl Voss, 3 great grandsonsand 1 great grand daughter, nieces & nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday at St. Ann's Church inHornell. Burial will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Middletown,on Monday.
