Mildred L Stocum, 74, of
Bennett Street, passed away Wednesday (November 22, 2006) at her home.
Born in Almond, February 10, 1932, the daughter of John and ElizabethBurleson Hagadorn, she had been a lifelong area resident, graduating from Canaseraga Central School.Millie was the former owner of Ray's Tavern on
Seneca St for 20 years. In 1970 shemarried Lloyd Stocum who predeceased her in 2003. She was a communicant of OurLady of the Valley Parish ( St. Ann'sChurch) for over 50 years, and was affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous forover 30 years. Her passions in life were Sewing, Reading, Baking, Crocheting, but mostimportant was her entire family.
She is survived by 2 daughters Kathleen (Dean) Johnson ofArkport, Colleen (Kevin) Wilson of Hornell, a son Michael (Candyse) Clarke ofHaskinville, grandchildren Amie (Paul) Moore, Tanya Stewart, Joseph Stewart,Benjamin Johnson, Jaime, Johsua, Joseph, and Jayson Wilson and great grandchildShamus Beam
The family will be present 2-4 & 7-9 PM Saturday, at the Robertson Funeral Home (New Location),354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00PM Burial will be in Hornell RuralCemetery.
