Jean Lewis, 92, of Elmwood Avenue, passed away Sunday (July 29, 2018) at her daughter's home surrounded by family.
She was born in Warsaw, NY, April 24, 1926, the daughter of Albert and Jennie "Belle" Evans Bailor. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the United Church of Friendship. She had worked for ACME Electric, ran an antique store in Friendship, and sold Avon for many years. She loved God, going to church and her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, her former husband Harold Budinger, and her husband Vernon Lewis, 2 sisters Faith Bailor and Alberta Ford, 3 sons Gerald, Aaron and Timothy Budinger, and 2 grandchildren Beth Budinger, and Gerald Budinger.
She is survived by 4 sons Harold (Monica) Budinger Jr of Angelica, Larry Budinger of Arkansas, Allen (Julie) Budinger of Friendship, Chester Lewis of Bolivar, 4 daughters Lillian Budinger of FriendshipBetty Jean (Dan) Smith of TN, Donna Kitchen of Friendship, Julie Lewis of Jamestown, 33 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren her brother Donald (Edna) Bailor of Angelica, a sister Carol Berman of AZ,as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be present 12-2pm Thursday, August 2, 2018, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Avenue in Angelica, where a funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 2:00 PM, with Rev. David Ford officiating. Burial will be in Until The Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica.
