Merle C. "Jack" Kull, 81 , of
95 North Main St,passed away Sunday (December3, 2006) at the home of his caregivers, Ronald and SallyCleveland, 26 Main Street,Hornell.
Born in Hornell, September 16, 1925, the son of Christian and Clara Shafer Kull, he hadresided in Hornell all his life. He attended schools in Hornell and served inthe US Navy during WW-2. He was employedfor 40 years with the Erie,Erie Lackawanna, and Conrail prior to his retirement in 1985. Jack wan an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors especiallyhis cabin in West Almond. He had owned and operated Kull'sDiner and Kull's Sport Shop in Hornell for severalyears.
He was predeceased by his parents, seven sisters and twobrothers.
He is survived by his brother Clarence Kullof Hornell, his best friend, Steve Drumm, as well asnieces and nephews.
The family will be presentto receive friends on Wednesdayfrom 4 PM until 6 PM at the Bender-Brown & PowersFuneral Home,
354 Canisteo St.,Hornell. Private funeral services willbe held at the convenience of thefamily.
