Maurita M. Woodhouse, 79, formerly of the Purdy Creek Road, and the Canisteo Manor, passed away Saturday (July 10, 2010) at the Hornell Gardens where she had resided the past 5 years.
Born in Bath, December 5, 1930, the daughter of Frank and Mildred Conklin Woodhouse, she was a member of the 1950 graduating class at Haverling High School in Bath. She had been employed as a telephone operator for Rochester Telephone Company for several years.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Gladys Spallina and her brother Fred Woodhouse.
She is survived by her sister, Phyllis (Shirley) Russell of Florida, sister-in-law, Martha Woodhouse of Florida, several nieces & nephews.
