Mary E. Bush, 74, of 199 East Avenue passed away Friday (February 10, 2017) at her home.



Born in Sumter, SC, August 27, 1942, the daughter of John and Effie May Scott Hodge, she had resided in Hornell most of her life. She was a graduate of Haverling High School in Bath.



Mary had been employed as an administrative assistant at the former Maple Crest Manor in Hornell.



She was predeceased by her parents and her infant son, Phillip Charles Murray,



She is survived by her daughter, Traci Robinson of Hornell, two sons, Jon Bush and Michael Bush both of Hornell, three brothers; Paul Parkstone and Carl Parkstone both of Durham, North Carolina and Harry Parkstone of Raleigh, North Carolina, two sisters; Alice Chriscaden of Dundee and Fran Hopkins of Geneseo, Eleven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell on Monday from Noon until 2 PM. Funeral services will be held following calling hours at 2 PM with Rev Cedric Cooper officiating.
