7331 North Main StreetExt., passed away Tuesday (January 20, 2009) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Austria , April 6, 1913, she came to the United States as a young child andhad resided most of her life in the Hornell-Canisteo area. She had beenemployed for the New York Telephone Company as an operator in Hornell andCanisteo for several years. She was a member of the Pioneer Club of thetelephone company as well as the United Methodist Church of Hornell.
She was predeceased by her husband Ira Englertin 1984.
She is survived by .one daughter, Ann Weyandof Rochester,one sister, Catherine Nasar of Hornell, 2grandchildren, Robert Weyand of Colorado and Patricia Dottoreof Rochester, 6great grandchildren .
The family will bepresent to receive friends at the Bender- Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
354Canisteo St, Hornell on Thursday (Jan. 29, 2008)from 4 PM until 7 PM at which time aFuneral service will be held withRev. Donald Maynard officiating. Burialwill be in Arkport Cemetery.
