Mary C. Decker,82, of TuckersCoroners, passed away Saturday (January 28, 2006) at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born in Cuba , NY, October 25, 1923, the daughterof DeForest and Martha Scott Crandall, she had been a lifelong area resident, andmarried Raymond Decker on February8, 1941. Mary had attended the Belmont Methodist Church, and will befondly remembered for reading the Bible frequently. She will be also rememberedfor her love of flower gardens, reading, her wonderful cooking and thewonderful quality of being a grandmother and great grandma.
Mary was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth CrandallBentley, and brothers Harold, Robert and Clayton Crandall.
She is survived by herhusband of nearly 65 years Raymond Decker, 2 daughters Caroline Causer ofAlabama, Barbara(Harry) Blossom of Scio, 1 son Gerald Decker of Scio, 2 sistersMavis Hija of Friendship, Laura(Walter)Fuhrer of Elkland, 12 grandchildrenGeorge, Raymond, Lawrence and William Causer, Mary Jo Venable, Joe, Jamie,Valarie and Stephen Decker, Tami McClintock, Jennifer Hunt, and AnthonyBlossom, 1 step grandson Christopher Blossom, 14 great grandchildren Kristin,Dustin, and Danielle Hunt, Anasstasia McClintock, Sebastian Decker, Bradley,Lee, and Cameron Causer, Kristi, Heather, and Crystal Venable, Kayla Causer,Kayla and Aaron Blossom, Sister in law Laurie Crandall, 2 cousins Mrs NormaGonyer, and Ernestine Slade, and several nieces and nephews.
