Martin O. Irion, 86, formerly of
GreenStreet,passed away Sunday (March9, 2008) in Altoona PA.
Born in Scranton,PA, October 11, 1921, the son of John and Clara SchoolyIrion, he had resided in Canisteo since the early 1960's. He had been employed as an electrician forthe former Erie,Erie Lakawanna Railroads as well as Conrail prior to his retirement. He hadalso been employed as a part time policeman for the Village of Canisteo.
He was predeceased by his parents and his wife Dorothy Irionin 2006.
He is survived by 3sons, Robert ( Nancy)Irion of Greenville PA., David (Barbara) Irion of Hollidaysburg, PA., andRonald (Pat) Irion of Rexville, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
