Marlee Schmitt age 79 of West Main Street, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025 at the Wellsville Manor with family by her side.
She was born in Wellsville, NY on June 13, 1945 the daughter of Ernest Hand and Josephine Speta Hand. She was a graduate of Belmont Central School, and attended the Olean Business Institute. She was a member of the DAR, the Belmont Legion Auxiliary, and the Belmont O.E.S.
She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband Ralph Schneider, and Joseph Schmitt.
She is survived by her daughter Tammy (Brian) Davis of Angelica, her grandson Joshua Jackson of Angelica, her granddaughter Kat (J.D.) Prentice of Belmont, her great grandchildren Attica, Rynnleigh, and Valkyrie.
A graveside service will be on Friday (June 13, 2025) at Forest Hills Cemetery in Belmont at 11:00am with Pastor David Ford officiating.
