Mark D. Dunham, 63, a resident of Beyea Road, Hornell, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born in Hornell on March 23, 1963, he was the son of Harley and Wilma (Neale) Dunham of Arkport. He was a graduate of Arkport Central School, Class of 1981. While in high school, he worked in a small engine and lawn mower repair shop. He was later employed by Polly-O Dairy, M&K, Amerail, Crowley's, and Alstom.

Mark was a great outdoorsman who loved all animals. He enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills and NASCAR, and especially loved classic rock music. He will also be remembered for his kind heart and his willingness to help others whenever he could.

He was predeceased by his parents; his grandparents; and a nephew, Shawn Houghtaling.

Surviving are his companion of 36 years, Tammy Cook of Hornell; two daughters, Heather Dunham of Buffalo and Alison Dunham of Rochester; five sisters, Sally (Scott) Hedges of Florida, Lisa (Bill) Putman of Florida, Marie (Ron) Houghtaling of LeRoy, Laurie Dunham of Canandaigua, and Amy Dunham of Hornell; and two brothers, Scott Dunham and Jason Dunham, both of Hornell. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

There will be no calling hours or services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a time and place to be announced.
