Marjorie Statler, 83, of 396 Canisteo Street, passed away unexpectedly Friday (March 12, 2010) shortly after arrival at St. James Hospital.
Born in Corning, July 28, 1926, she had resided in the Corning-Painted Post area most of her life before moving to Hornell in 2007.
She is survived by her sister, Clara Baker of Hornell, and all her friends at Sue's Rest Home in Hornell.
The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell on Monday from 10 AM until 11 AM Funeral services will be held following calling hours at 11 AM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
