Marjorie Mason of Almond, NY went home to be with her Lordon Jan. 20, 2007.She was 96 years old. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Marjorie was born Aug. 13, 1910 in the town of Alfred to Clarence and Alice Green. She wasmarried on Dec. 25, 1929to Edward Mason who predeceased her in 1999. She was also predeceased by herson Donald Cameron Mason in 2004, a granddaughter Lisa Barron in 1964 andgrandson Dan Barron in 2002.
Survivors include a daughter Sharon (Mason) Barron and herhusband Lyle Barron as well as two granddaughters Sherry (Barron) Arviso and Shaney (Barron)Hughes, both of California,nine great grandchildren and two great greatgrandchildren.
Marjorie who attended Alfred High School,was an avid cross word puzzler and was noted for her great wit. She was amember of the Almond Union of Churches, Almond Historical Society, the 20thCentury Club and the Almond Library.
There will be a Memorial service at the Almond Union ofChurches on Saturday (Jan.27, 2007) at 11:00am.Pastor Steve Dygert officiating.
