Marilynn J. McKee, 86, of 43 Adsit Street, passed away Tuesday (October 16, 2012) at St. James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Hornell, July 2, 1926, the daughter of Playford W. and Mabel (Austin) McKee, she was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Hornell High School "Class of 1944", and had also attended Cortland University. Marilynn was retired from the former At&T in Hornell. She was an animal lover especially cats, and was a huge New York Yankee's fan.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Helen Albright in 2002.
She is survived by her nephews Robert (Joyce) Albright of SC, William (Sherry) Albright of NC, her niece Mary Ann Albright of NC, her great niece Pamela Albright of NC, and great nephews Robert Albright of TX, William Albright of NH, and Michael Albright of NC.
The family will be present 11am-12:00pm Friday, October 19, 2012, at the Robertson Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, with James Matt officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Friendship.
