Marilyn Ann Hoyt, 64, of East William Street Ext., passed away Thursday (Feb. 13, 2025) at her home.
Born in Bergen, NY, August 18, 1960, she was the daughter of Arthur and Linda (Brown) Donley. Marilyn was a graduate of Byron Bergen High School, Class of 1979. On April 8, 1983, she married Donald Hoyt who survives.
Marilyn was employed for over 20 years as a cashier in the Food Service Department of Alfred University.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Debra Donley Barney, and granddaughter, Brandi Hoyt
Surviving in addition to her husband Donald, are her children, Christopher (Lori) Hoyt, Jacob Hoyt, Robert (Angel) Hoyt and Carrie (William) Payne, her brother, Tim Donley, grandchildren, Kelsey, Alexandria, Trenton, Carson, Branson, William, Cooper, Brody and Lucas.
The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday February 22,2025
At Bender-Brown and Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell from 11 AM until 1 PM with services to follow at 1PM. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends wishing, may make memorial contributions in care of the Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
Following services family & friends are invited to a reception at Hornell VFW on Canisteo Street, Hornell.
