Margaret L. Rahmlow, 91, formerly of 27 Washington St, passed away Thursday (December 30, 2010) at Hornell Gardens where she had been a resident since 2002.
Born in Hornell, August 18, 1919, the daughter of Frank and Eleanor Rose Rahmlow, she was a lifelong area resident. Margaret had attended Christ Episcopal of Hornell, and had worked for St James Hospital for many years. She was a very happy person, who enjoyed her family immensely, and loved to sing.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Frances Wizeman, and Virginia Wright, her brothers Robert, Donald, and Frank Rahmlow Jr.
She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Andrews of Hornell, Marilyn Hawkins of Hornell, brothers Richard (Ann) Rahmlow of Conn., William Rahmlow of Hornell, and Raymond (Betty) Rahmlow of Hornell, and several nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM, The Rev. G. Cole Gruberth officiating. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
