Margaret F Schneider, 99 formerly of High Street in Angelica went home to be with Jesus on Friday (February 27, 2015) at the Wellsville Manor.
Born in Buffalo, April 10, 1915, the daughter of James and Annie (Juson) Ford, she was a longtime Angelica resident.
On April 11, 1931, she married Earl F. Schneider who predeceased her on September 23, 1972.
Margaret was employed outside her home most of her married life, but still found time to be an excellent homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, walking, reading, many kinds of music and was also a lover of animals.
She also enjoyed her church and community and was a member of the Angelica United Methodist Church, the Christian Women's Group, Hill-Warner Post American Legion Auxillary, the Progress Club, and the Rebekkahs.
Margaret loved and was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by 1 daughter Marie (Rod) McKnight of Angelica, daughter in law Marlee Schmitt of Angelica, 4 grandchildren Michael Schneider, Tammy (Brian) Davis, Dean (Corinna) McKnight, Ryan (Jessica) McKnight, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents Margaret was predeceased by a daughter Wanda Jean Schneider in 1953, and her son Ralph Schneider in 1997, a sister Kathleen Adams, 4 brothers Alfred, James Allen, Harold and William Ford.
A Memorial service will be on April 25, 2015 at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home in Angelica at 11:00am with the Rev. David Ford officiating. Burial was at Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica.
