Marcia L. McCollumn, 91, a long-term resident of North Main Street Extension in Hornell, went to be with the Lord on Thursday (June 4, 2026) at Vincent House in Wayland NY.

Born in Wayland, Nov. 4, 1934, she loved her family dearly she was the daughter of "Charles Lake Robinson and Mignon Boland Robinson. Marcia was a graduate of Wayland Central School. She spent all of her adult life living in the place she loved and called home, Hornell. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Wayland and the former St. Ignatius Church in Hornell. She was currently a member of Our Lady of The Valley Parish in Hornell.

Marcia will be remembered as a very kind, gentle, and loving person. She especially enjoyed crafting and spent many hours making crafts for family and friends. She loved her collections of bells, dolls, and angels. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to so many.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother William Robinson, her husband Gerald "Jerry" McCollumn in 2010, her son Thomas McCollumn in January of this year.

Surviving are her children, Elise McCollumn of North Hornell and her son, Gregory McCollumn of Arkport. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday (June 8, 2026) from 11 AM until 1:45 PM at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell. Graveside committal services will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Fremont with Pastor Doug Jones officiating.
