Lynn M. Nisbet,83, of
338 Cleveland Avenue,passed away Wednesday (December 21, 2005) at Strong Memorial Hospitalin Rochester.
Born in Genesee, PA, June 3, 1922, the son of Lynn G .andMyrtle M. Saxton Nisbet, he had resided all his adult life inHornell. He was a member of the GladTidings Assembly of God in North Hornell wherehe had been a member of the Church Board, had taught Sunday school and wasgrounds keeper for several years. He served in the US Army Air Corp duringWW-2. He served as a fireman for the City of Hornell for more than 30 years prior to hisretirement.
He was predeceased by his brothers Raymond and Philip Nisbet .
He is survived by hiswife Jane Harter Nisbet whom he married December 5, 1945.

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God 342 Seneca Rd. North Hornell, from 1-3PM and 5-7PM where funeral serviceswill be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 7:00pm , with the Rev. Morris Hagan, and Rev. Bert Tidlundofficiating. Burial will be at Howard Cemetery.
