6147 Burt Hill Road, passed away Saturday (December 11, 2004) at Rochester General Hospital.
Born in Genesee, PA., January 10, 1925, the daughter of Loranand Sephronia Cole Converse,she had resided in Canisteo most of her life. She had been employed as a meatcutter for the former D.L. Fisher Grocery in Canisteoand later operated the Howard Meat Block out of her home.
She was predeceased byherhusband, Jesse W. Barnard in 2001.
She is survived by three daughters: Ann Lowery of Hammondsport, Nancy (Lewis) Bacon of Cameron and Paula (Calvin) Coots of Campbell; three sons: Shannon (Gloria) Barnard of Canisteo, Shearl (Charlotte) Barnard of Canisteo and Arthur Barnard of Batavia.14 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
The family will be presentfrom 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Monday to receivefriends at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
6 Spruce St.,Canisteo where funeral services will beheld following calling hours at 1 :00 PM. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery,Canisteo.
