Lucille Forshee McKinney, 96, of
5292 State Route248, passed away Saturday (September 8, 2007) at herhome.
Born in EastFreetown, NY, November 24, 1910, thedaughter of Clarence and Edna Jones Brown, she was a graduate of McGraw HighSchool.She had resided in McGraw and Elmiraprior to moving to Canisteo in 1948.Lucille was employed in the Cafeteria at Canisteo Central School , serving ascafeteria manager from 1961- 1970. She then resided in Ithaca prior to returning to Canisteo in 1977to reside on the property behind her son . She was a member of the First PresbyterianChurch in Canisteo and a former member of the Canisteo Chapter #210, Order ofEastern Star.
She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, LeRoy Forshee in 1961, her secondhusband, Edward McKinney in 1977, herson Robert Forshee in 1972, and her grandson, Scott Forshee in2003 as well as her brother, Walter Brown.
Lucille will be remembered as a loving, nurturing Motherand Grandmother who touched everyone'slife her path crossed. She will bedearly missed.

She is survived by one son: Gary (Mary) Forshee ofCanisteo, one sister: Marjorie Ferris of Groton,daughter-in-law, Barb (Charlie) Antinore of Canisteo,8 grandchildren, Steven (Kelly) Forshee, Renee (Alan)McKee, David ( T.C.) Forshee, Lorie (Mike) Schwartz,Roy (Pam) Forshee, Alan (Terry) Forshee,Amanda (Larry) Roach, and Kevin Forshee ; 23 great grandchildren,3 great great grandchildren.
The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday at the Brown &Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo where funeral services will be heldon Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Todd Haines officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo, NY.
