Lucian B. Prevatt, 78, a resident of Perry, passed away Tuesday (April 22, 2025) at the Premier Genesee Nursing Home in Batavia.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, October 7, 1946, he was the son of Lester and Merrill Williams. After graduation from High School, he attended the University of Florida and was a self-employed hairdresser for several years.
Lucian will be remembered as a “True Southern Gentleman” who loved animals and cooking, especially researching and trying out new receipts.
He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Lester Prevatt.
Surviving is his husband, Paul J. Norbut Jr. of Perry.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside committal service on Sunday (April 27, 2025) at Hillside Cemetery in Canisteo at 2:00 PM. Rev. Dena Stevens will officiate.
Friends wishing to remember Lucian, are asked to consider a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.
