Lorna M. Van Sickles, 47, of 427 West High Street, passed away unexpectedly onWednesday (April 14, 2010) at the Reading Hospital & Medical Center in Reading, PA.
Born in Hornell, November 15, 1962, the daughter of L.B. and Ruth Dennis Van Sickles, she had resided in Jasper her early life and was a graduate of Jasper Central School. She received her Associates Degree from the State University of New York at Morrisville. She was employed as a Business Development Specialist for Austin Hardware and Supply Company in Reading, PA.
She was predeceased by her father, L.B. "Doc" Van Sickles in 2006.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Van Sickles of Bath, her sister, Lori Graham of Jasper, 2 brothers, Steve Van Sickles of Cameron Mills, and Michael (Rebecca) Van Sickles of Jasper, her loving companion, Terry Dunn of PA., nieces & nephews, Justin and Joshua Van Sickles, Christina (David) Jordan, Jennifer (Aric) Whitehead and Tessa Graham.
The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. William Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Bennetts Creek Cemetery.
