Lori Jackson, 62, passed away peacefully at home on (April 17, 2026), surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Hornell, New York, Lori was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and caregiver whose life was defined by her compassion and dedication to others. She spent many years working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a role that reflected her natural kindness and desire to care for those in need. Lori also lovingly cared for her grandmother, Bernice Cook, showing the same selfless devotion she extended to so many throughout her life.

Lori is survived by her children: Edward Abbott (Jessica), James "Jimmy" Abbott (Stacey), Justin Abbott, and Eric Abbott. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Shawn, Ryan, Adrianna, Jax, Cayden, Mayson, and Brielle, all of whom brought her immense joy.

She is also survived by her father: John Jackson, SR and brothers: Johnny (Fran), Kevin (Jennifer), Jason, and Jeff, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

Lori was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Bernice Cook; her mother, Sandra VanCise; and her brother, Jimmy Jackson.

She will be remembered for her warm heart, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family. Lori's presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will be held close by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Lori's life will be held at a later date.
