Lois Jean Goldman of Hornell, NY, passed away on January 11, 2017. She was 93 and born on August 2, 1923 in Sugar Grove, PA.
Her parents were Elnathan C. Johnson and Jennie A. Peterson Johnson.
She married Jack I. Goldman in Buffalo, NY.
They moved from Olean to Hornell, NY in 1955 and became lifelong residents. Lois was very active at Temple Beth-El, serving as President and other capacities throughout the years, and was also an avid fundraiser for the Temple. She was a volunteer for the Board of Elections for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband on November 24, 2001 and by her son Samuel Charles Goldman on June 19, 1998.
She is survived by son Jack I. (Penny) Goldman Jr., Susan (Stephen) Warren, Doris (Darrel) Stebbins and her
grandchildren Jennifer Goldman, David (Jennifer) Goldman, Michael (Katie) Warren, Joshua Warren, Rebecca Shaw, Kristen (Aaron) Southard, Sarah (Justin) Williams and by her great grandchildren Tyler (Emily) Goldman, Britney Goldman, Reagan and Brennan Warren, Jason and Jacob Williams, Rhys Daniel, and Aldeen Southard.
Graveside Services were held at Beth-El Cemetery in Hornell, New York.
