Llewelyn G. "Giggs" Robinson, 87, of
8998 Cream Hill Rd, passed away Wednesday(March 18, 2009)at St. James Hospital.
Born in the Town of Dansville, November 22, 1921, the son of Marion and Bertha Pfaff Robinson,he had resided in the Town of Dansvilleall his life where he was a dairy farmer until his retirement in 1989. He stillresided on the farm after his retirement. He was a 70 year member of theStephens Mills Grange and a 65 year member of South Dansville Lodge #478F&AM. He was a life member of theSouth Dansville Fire Department and a life member of the National RifleAssociation.
Llewelyn loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed his 4-wheeler, but willbe remembered most for his love of home and family.
He was predeceased by his parents, and one brother, Arnold(Bob) Robinson.
He is survived by hiswife, Dorothy Ribble Robinson whom he married February 26, 1944, his daughter,Eva Jane (Terry) Boyle of Bergen, a son, Keith (Aileen) Robinson of Arkport, 3grand daughters, Bobbi Jo, Dorothy and Shannon, 7 Great Grandchildren, 2 lovingneighbors, Nancy France and Bill Woodworth of Arkport and many nieces and nephews too numerous tomention.
The family will be presentto receive friends from2-4 & 7-9PM Sunday at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
354 Canisteo St, Hornellwhere funeral services will be held on Mondayat 11:00AM. Burial will be in Rogersville Forrest Lawn Cemetery, South Dansville. A Masonic Memorial Service will be heldon Sunday evening at 7 PMat the funeral home.
