Linda Jean Dibble, 73, a resident of State Route 961F, passed away unexpectedly at her home Saturday( July 20, 2024).
Born in Hornell, July 7, 1951, Linda had resided all her life in the Hornell area. She had been employed at several jobs throughout her life mainly in food service. She had been employed at Walmart in Hornell and the former McAuley Manor in North Hornell. Linda enjoyed many things in her life but none more than visiting the Casinos with her husband and son. She enjoyed embroidering that she gifted to many family members. Linda also loved going to races with her husband and family and her favorites to watch were Mark Martin and Bryce Davis, she also loved Bingo trips with her daughter, sister and niece. At Christmas time she loved baking her cookies for family and friends, and showing her granddaughter how to cook and bake. In her down time she also enjoyed reading and visiting family.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Marlene Herbert and her brother, Rodney Stephens.
Surviving is her husband, David Dibble of Arkport, her daughter, Tammy (Mark) Forte of Rochester and her son David Dibble of Penfield, her sister, Diane Stephens of Hornell, her brother Ronnie Stephens of Canisteo, her granddaughter Angelina (Clayton) Humbert and great grandson, Ayden Humbert, her special friend, Tim Clifford of Hornell as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life for a future date on October 12, 2024 at the Hornell VFW.
