Linda H. Alger, 66, formerly of McDougal Ave., died Wednesday (June 16, 2010) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Hornell, March 22, 1944, the daughter of Harold and Emily Roberts, she had spent her early life in Almond prior to moving to New Hampshire. Linda returned to Hornell in 2006.
She was predeceased by her father, Harold Roberts, and her mother, Emily Roberts Coddington.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Mike) Perry of Scio, 4 sons, Kevin (Melody) Mead of PA., Raymond (Sebra) Alger , Ben (Kathy) Alger, and Myron Crate, all of New Hampshire, 1 sister, Ethel (Dale) Irish of Cattaraugus, 2 brothers, Arthur (Georgia) Roberts of Avoca and Robert Coddington of Hornell, 15 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren.
The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell on Monday from 3 PM until 6:30 PM where funeral services will follow calling hours at 6:30 PM, Rev. Dan Douglas officiating.
