Lillian May Snyder, 95, of

6504 Whitford Rd, passed away Sunday (October 7, 2007) at the Hornell Gardens.



Born in Hornell, October 24, 1911, a daughter of Richard and Pearl Jennings,she had resided in Hornell and Alfred Station, her entire life.



She had been employed by ACES at Alfred State Collage,retiring in 1978. After Lillian retiredshe took care of children for the Head Start Program for 24 years.



Lillian will be remembered for her love of dancing, bowling,sewing and animals.



She was a member of the Hornell United Methodist Churchand was in the United Methodist Women's group. She was a former member of the Hornell EaglesClub.



Lillian was predeceased by her husband Tracey Snyder in1963, her parents, one sister Marion, and Three brothers: George, Clair, andEarl Snyder



She is survived by two daughters: PearlM. (Vincent) Marzec of Hamburg, NY and Rose Ann (Robert) Matacale of AlfredStation.



Five grandchildren, 9 Step grand children, 10 Greatgrandchildren several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present to receive friends at the RobertsonFuneral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Wednesday (Oct. 10, 2007) from 2-4 PM and 7-9PM. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM,Thursday( Oct. 11, 2007) at the Hornell United Methodist Church with the Rev. BethKotteman officiating. Burial will be in RuralCemetery. Friends wishing may make memorialcontributions to the: Hornell United Methodist church or the Hornell HumanSociety
