Lewis G. Raner, 82, formerly of 9th St., passed away late Thursday evening (August 9, 2012) at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Hornell, June 19, 1930, the son of Edward and Leona Raner, he had resided in Canisteo all his life. He had been employed for many years at the New York State Department of Transportation in Hornell and owned and operated the former Raner's Lawnmover Service in Canisteo.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Teresa in 2009, as well as all of his siblings.

Honoring Lewie's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo, on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
