LeRoy L. Ludwig, 82, of 27 1/2 Fulton Street, passed away Saturday (August 31, 2013) at St James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Fillmore, December 1, 1930, the son of Clifford F. and Flossie Davidson Ludwig, he had resided in Hornell since 1985 previously living in the Canaseraga and Swain Area. Roy was a carpenter by trade and had been employed by several area contractors including Hollis Baker, and Gail Coombs of Canaseraga, John Patton, Jack L. White and the Tree Barn all of Hornell. He retired in 1992. Roy was a member of the Hornell United Methodist Church. He was an avid collector of clocks and model trucks especially HESS Trucks.
He was predeceased by his parents, and one sister, Margaret Bennett.
He is survived by his niece, Helen Bennett of Arkport, and his long time friend and companion, Roberta Drake of Hornell. Roy is also survived by several cousins.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Robertson Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell on Thursday from 2PM until 4 PM at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Marion Luce officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Hill Cemetery, Arkport.
