Leonard W. Wesche, 90, formerly ofAllen, passed away peacefully, Sunday (May 24, 2009) at the Wellsville Manor.
Born in Angelica, January 18, 1919, the sonof Adolph and Agatha Breitwieser Wesche, he had beena lifelong area resident. Leonard had been a dairy farmer all his life on the Wesche homestead farm in Allen. He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Allen and and had most enjoyed in life, his passion for farming.
He was predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters, LouiseBrowning and Martha Wesche, and his brother, Harold Wesche.
He is survived by one brother, Walter (Agnes) Wesche of Belmont, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday, May 28, 2009, at St. Paul'sLutheran Church in Allen, where funeral services will follow calling hours at 2PM. Rev. Larry Hoyt will officiate. Burial will be in Basswood Hill Cemetery.
Friends may make memorial contributions to the Charity oftheir choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Brown & PowersFuneral Home of Angelica.
