Lelia “Lee” M. Hadsell age 77 of High Street, passed away on Wednesday (December 19, 2023) at Strong Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Wellsville, NY on August 25, 1946 the daughter of Cecil Pierce and Lucy Quant Pierce. Lee had been employed at the GM plant in Lockport, New York. She had been a member of the Friendship Auxiliary, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, country and western music, Bingo and occasionally playing the slots at the Casino.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Lynn Nunn
She is survived by her loving companion John Ellsessor of Angelica, 3 sons Larry (Penny) Hadsell of Friendship, Raymond Hadsell of Friendship, Todd (Jennifer ) Hadsell of Friendship, 3 daughters Dawn (Jason) Fuller of VA, Kim (Darin Arnold) Demick of Belfast, Holly (Ruben) Holstrom of VA, 2 brothers Keith Pierce of Albany, Ken Pierce of Belmont, 2 sisters Sharon Foster of Olean, Cecelia Peterson of Angelica, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, and her beloved dog “Molly”.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
