Leah Dawn Simonetti passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 25th at the age of 37.
She is predeceased by her mother Dawn Simonetti, her paternal grandparents Paul and Mary Simonetti, as well as her maternal grandparents Donald Harbridge and EmmaLou Young.
Leah is survived by her father Richard (Denise) Simonetti, her brothers Richard (Emily) and Christopher (Patricia), as well as her cherished niece and nephew Maizie and Maxwell. Leah is also survived by her aunts and uncles; Paul (Haiyan) Simonetti, Theresa (Richard) McDonough, Tina (Fred) Phillips, Gail Simonetti, Mike (Maria) Harbridge, Jeff (Sandy) Harbridge, and Jim Harbridge. She was a treasured cousin of Justin, Kristin, Rachel, Daniel, Nicolette, Michalene, and Savanna. She held Camryn close to her heart.
Leah’s life was fulfilled with family and friends. She spent her time outdoors, surrounded by loved ones at camp, riding ATV’s, fishing, and sitting around a campfire. She was a former volunteer at the Erie County SPCA, helping to walk and take care of dogs. She took classes and was a teacher's assistant for children at a local taekwondo dojang. Leah was an avid Disney movie fan, as well as romantic comedies, and was a true fan of John Cena. She enjoyed organizing games, playing, and connecting with her niece, nephew, and younger cousins. With a good sense of humor, Leah had the ability to make jokes when you least expected it. She left an impact on those closest to her; she will be greatly missed at family gatherings, birthdays, holidays, and celebrations.
A private funeral mass and burial will be held at a later date.
