Lawrence D. "Larry" Feenaughty, 90, of Hornell, passed away in Mt. Morris Wednesday (April 28, 2010) with his daughter with whom he has resided with since 1986.
Born in Canisteo, June 15, 1919, the son of Deo and Melvina (Campbell) Feenaughty, he had resided in the Hornell area most of his life. Larry worked for both the Erie Railroad as well as the city of Hornell. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic and for the love of his family; especially his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife Marian Ruth Feenaughty in 1957, two brothers, Charles and Carl Feenaughty, two sisters, Reda Tidd and Winifred Donaldson.
He is survived by five sons, Mike (Lynda) Feenaughty of Hornell, David Feenaughty of Tampa, FL, Larry (Kris) Feenaughty of Hornell, Joe Jackson of Corning and Ronald (Prissilla) Feenaughty of Almond, five daughters, Patricia Oakes of Mt. Morris, Sharlene Kemp of Hornell, Kathy Weldy of Hornell, Karen Booth of Hornell and Kimberly Feenaughty of Geneseo, two sisters, Virgina Gardner of Hornell and Majorie Perry of Andover, 42 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 6Pm-8Pm on Wednesday (May 5, 2010) at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 8PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
Friends may make memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to the American Red Cross.
