Laura H. Butler, 86,formerly of Hill Street, passedaway Saturday (Sept. 6, 2008) at the Fred & Taylor Taylor Health Care Center in Bath.
Born in Waverly, October 21, 1921, thedaughter of Elmer and Ruth Lattimer Vanderworker,she had resided in the Hornell, Dansville and Mt Morris areas all her life. Shehad been employed for several years at Birds Eye in Avon.
She was predeceased by her parents, her son, Robert Haightin 1995, and her brother, Raymond Vanderworker.
She is survived by 3 daughters- Alice Phillips of Hornell,Helen Huffling of North Carolinaand Linda Butler of Michigan.1 son, Mark Butler of Michiganand special friend, Daryl Brooks of Dansville, 7 Grandchildren, and severalgreat grandchildren.

The family will be presentto receive friends from2 PM until 5 PM Thursday at the Bender - Brown& Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell where funeral services willbe held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery,Canisteo.
