Kimberlee K. Edgecomb, 60, of Fairview Ave., passed away Sunday (August 29, 2010) at St. James Hospital.



Born in Corning, November 21, 1949, the daughter of Albert and Amy Cornue Loveland, she had resided in Hornell for the past 17 years. Kimberlee was a graduate of the Avoca Central School and the Elmira School of Business. Upon graduating, Kim began work at St. James Mercy Hospital, then worked in the secretarial field for several years before starting her own business, Kimberlee Kreations & Singing Telegrams. Following her retirement, she became a published freelance writer. Kimberlee enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, singing, playing the piano and sharing her gift of poetry. Most of all Kim will be remembered by her family and friends for her well known antics, encouraging spirit, and love for the lord.



She was predeceased by her parents.



She is survived by her husband Charles Edgecomb whom she married in 1972, two daughters; Amy (David) Sheroshick and Wendy (Michael) Chace both of Hornell, two brothers, Ray (Diane) Gayhart and Steve Hurlburt both of Hornell, six grandchildren, Kody and Kayla Stinson, Joshua, Olivia, Elijah and Kezia Chace all of Hornell.

The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday (September 1, 2010) and on Thursday from 1PM until 3PM and from 6PM until 8PM at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. A memorial service will be held at the Grace Baptist Church in Dansville on Friday at 2PM with Rev. David Theobald officiating.
