Kenneth Paul Stiles, 65 passed away Tuesday (Oct. 8, 2024) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a brief illness.
Born July 12, 1959 in Hornell, he was the son of Paul F. Stiles Sr. and Donna DeCook Stiles. He was a graduate of Hornell High School, Class of 1977 and had resided in the Hornell area in his youth. He was employed as a custodian at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY for 20 years.
He was predeceased by his father, Paul F. Stiles Sr. on Sept. 27,2024, and his brother Phillip Stiles on June 9, 2023.
Surviving are his wife, Christina Lynn Stiles to whom he had been married for only 17 days, his mother, Donna Stiles of Hornell, his daughter Lynette (Joseph) Simons of Mass., his sons, Matthew (Maryflor) Stiles of Middlefield, NY, Step-children, Kathy, Alicea and Aubrienna, step son Brenden Fox of Canaseraga, his sister, Kathy (Rick) Bates of Hornell and brothers, Paul (Yvette Campbell) of Florida and Daniel Stiles of Hornell, 7 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home in Hornell on Friday (Oct. 11, 2024) at 2:00 PM. Pastor Craig Brittingham will officiate.
